Railcar Cleaning
QRS has teamed up with Chem Station of the Rockies, Inc. to develop an environmentally safe method for car cleaning and washing, in which a railcar can be safely, quickly and inexpensively washed at your facility.

All heavy metal composites released from the car body during washing are collected and removed from the afterwash through a process of filtration similar to the US Airforce process used for cleaning jet fighter aircraft. The dirty water and soap can then be disposed of by pouring it down the drain, leaving railcars restored to a like-new condition and a proud reflection of your company.

Railcar Maintenance and Repair
We focus on bringing the maintenance and repair facility to our customers, eliminating the cost of transportation and the lost revenue caused by the down time of your fleet. QRS can complete almost all necessary running repairs, railcar inspections, and wreck restoration on site.

In addition QRS performs railcar repair and inspections operating from open-air facilities. Unique to QRS, this cost effective servicing solution reduces operating costs for our customers with rates that are 20 to 40% less then standard AAR rates. Combined with our extensive range of standard equipment, including Carmen’s trucks and forklifts, QRS increases the effectiveness of your rail operations.
